How to Become a Psychologist in New Brunswick

First: Obtain An Undergraduate Degree

Before 2011, all you needed was a Masters Degree in New Brunswick for independent practice as a licensed Psychologist, but now a Doctoral degree is needed. Below is a list of schools in New Brunswick where you can obtain an Undergraduate Degree in Psychology.

Second: Obtain a Doctoral Degree

In New Brunswick you must have a Doctoral Degree to become licensed under the  College of Psychologists of New Brunswick.

Third: Where and How do I Register?

Where to register as a Psychologist in New Brunswick: College of Psychologists of New Brunswick

Along with a Doctoral Degree, applicants wanting to licence as a Psychologist must also receive a score of 70% on the EPPP exam, and pass an oral examination / interview.
